Dennis Willis is a Bay Area-raised music superfan who started spinning records on public access radio at the age of 14. Since then, he has supported independent music and championed new sounds as a live DJ, music programmer, host and producer. His Soundwaves 10@10 run of 400 episodes led to the current run of Soundwaves TV (since 2018) with Chasta. His radio show Soundwaves FM celebrates the Bay Area music scene – past, present and future – with an ear toward playing local artists and diving deeper into legendary catalogs.
