Journey’s show in Houston, Texas, was cut short after an electrical fire broke out below the stage area.
Drummer Deen Castronovo described the incident on social media as an “act of God” writing, “I was literally on fire for four and a half songs, all the power cables melted, and the show was a BUST!
Castronovo assured fans that the band would return, expressing love for the audience and gratitude for their support.
RodeoHouston organizers issued a statement apologizing for the cancellation and promised updates on refunds or rescheduling.
No injuries were reported as a result of the electrical fire during the show.
