An upcoming documentary about The Mars Volta has its first full trailer – and it’s as strange and chaotic as the band’s music.
Omar and Cedric: If This Ever Gets Weird will focus on the long-running friendship of bandmates Omar Rodríguez-López and Cedric Bixler-Zavala – growing up in El Paso, their musical journey with At The Drive-In and The Mars Volta, and years-long fallout before their recent reunion.
It includes home-movie footage from Omar’s personal archive along with concert video and new interviews.
The film will begin a limited theatrical release on Nov. 20th.
