Conquest Music has announced the death of Paul Andrews, known professionally as Paul Di’Anno. Paul passed away at his home in Salisbury at the age of 66. Born in Chingford, East London, on May 17, 1958, Di’Anno gained fame as the lead singer of Iron Maiden from 1978 to 1981, lending his voice to their groundbreaking debut album Iron Maiden and its influential follow-up, Killers.

After leaving the band, Paul had a prolific career with BATTLEZONE, KILLERS, and various solo projects. Despite health issues that confined him to a wheelchair, he performed over 100 shows since 2023. In September 2024, Di’Anno released his first career retrospective album, The Book of the Beast, featuring highlights from his post-Iron Maiden recordings.
