Calling the attack “another senseless act of gun violence,” Osbourne says, “It’s been 37 years since I’ve seen Jake E. Lee, but that still doesn’t take away from the shock of hearing what happened to him today. I just hope he’ll be OK.”

Lee, who appeared on Osbourne’s albums Bark at the Moon and The Ultimate Sin, is expected to make a full recovery. No arrests have been made in the shooting, which investigators believe was a random act.

Las Vegas Police have not yet made any arrests in the shooting of former Ozzy Osbourne guitarist Jake E. Lee. Police say the investigation is “ongoing”.  Lee’s management said police believe the shooting was “completely random”.
