A guitar tech for Jane’s Addiction says the on-stage fight that broke up the band continued off-stage.
The now-infamous incident happened at a show in Boston, with frontman Perry Farrell getting dragged off after taking a swing at guitarist Dave Navarro.
Appearing on the podcast Rare Form Radio, guitar tech Dan Cleary said the scuffle continued from there, with Farrell punching Navarro in the face backstage.
He also said it wasn’t the first issue with Farrell, who had tried to quit the band a month earlier in Las Vegas.
What’s next for Jane’s Addiction? While Farrell has apologized, Cleary says the band is “no more”. Navarro has also suggested that Jane’s Addiction is finished.
