Ozzy Osbourne has been dealing with a number of health issues in the past five years, and it may have caused him to think of his own mortality.

“I said to [wife] Sharon [Osbourne] that I’d smoked a joint recently and she said, ‘What are you doing that for! It’ll f—— kill you!’” He explained in a new interview with Rolling Stone UK, “I said ‘How long do you want me to f—— live for?!’”

“At best I’ve got 10 years left and when you’re older, time picks up speed.” Ozzy continued, “Me and Sharon had our 41st wedding anniversary recently, and that’s just unbelievable to me!”

He also mentioned some of his peers he’s outlived.

“I should have been dead way before loads of them. Why am I the last man standing? I don’t understand any of it. Sometimes I look in the mirror and go, ‘Why the f— did you make it?!’ I’m not boasting about any of it because I should have been dead a thousand times. I’ve had my stomach pumped God knows how many times.”

Despite all his struggles, Ozzy is still hoping to make new music and return to the stage in the future. As fans wait for new music, they can hear more of Ozzy on “The Osbournes Podcast”, which releases new episodes every Tuesday.

“The Osbournes Podcast” has already seen a handful of confessions including Sharon calling Nikki Sixx an a**hole, Kelly’s disgust on specific topics relating to Ozzy, Ozzy’s openness to Tai Chi, his ongoing struggles with health, peeing on stage, and what he won’t do as a grandparent.
