So far, the injury list has been fairly short for the 49ers.

Dre Greenlaw was the first player to join that list this week. He was held out of practice on Wednesday with a groin injury that Kyle Shanahan described as from “wear and tear.”

But Greenlaw was back in action on Thursday and listed as limited.

On KNBR with Copes and Dieter, Shanahan was not remotely concerned about Greenlaw’s injury.

“Dre was good,” Shanahan said. “He went full today and had a great practice.”

The only absence on Thursday came from cornerback Samuel Womack III, who was out with a knee injury. That’s worth monitoring, especially given his special teams role.

San Francisco has just five active cornerbacks on the roster after cutting undrafted rookie D’Shawn Jamison, who was claimed by Carolina, but was inactive for the Panthers’ first game of the season. Rookie fifth-round pick Darrell Luter Jr. remains on the physically unable to perform list and could factor in later in the season.

If Womack can’t go, Qwuantrezz Knight, Tre Swilling and Shemar Jean-Charles are three practice squad corner options the 49ers have available.
