Robert Trujillo ‘Inherited A Family’ After Joining Metallica

Robert Trujillo, the bassist for Metallica, was recently interviewed with “Groove – The No Treble Podcast” host Mitch Joel.

Twenty years after joining Metallica, Robert talked about how his bond with the band has evolved.

“Metallica is a family. I inherited a family. I inherited new brothers,” said Robert. He also added that as a family member, you have to communicate and cater to each others’ personalities.

Metallica released its 11th studio album, “72 Seasons” on Friday, April 14th. “72 Seasons” marks the band’s first studio collection since 2016’s “Hardwired…to Self-Destruct.”
