Green Day rang in the new year with old songs.
The band celebrated 2023 with a performance of their side-project, The Coverups. Billie Joe Armstrong and bassist Mike Dirnt started The Coverups in 2018 while playing some of their favorite rock songs.
The Coverups played 23 songs at Hollywood’s Viper Room including covers of Nirvana, Ramones, David Bowie, The Cure and more.
