It turns out one of Guns N’ Roses’ most visible members is also the band’s wealthiest.
Frontman Axl Rose leads the group with an estimated net worth of $230 million, according to rock news agency Metal Hammer. Rose’s fortune is more than double that of lead guitarist Slash, who’s amassed a $100 million fortune over the years, the site reports.
Trailing Slash is bassist Duff McKagan, who’s worth an estimated $80 million, per Metal Hammer. And finally, Dizzy Reed — who, along with Rose, has been with the band from the beginning — comes in fourth with a net worth of $40 million, according to the site.
Why are there such differences in each band member’s net worth? Don’t bands split up the money they earn evenly?
