Metallica has partnered with the college football world to create a Marching Band Competition.
The collegiate Division 1 grand prize winner will have the opportunity to be featured in the EA Sports College Football video game.
Bands participating in the competition will perform high-energy renditions of Metallica songs using official marching band charts provided by Hal Leonard.
A panel of judges will select finalists in each category, with winners receiving high-end musical equipment for their schools.
