Metallica’s “Master Of Puppets” is the latest track to surpass one billion streams on Spotify.
The band announced the news this week: “We’re psyched to share that ‘Master Of Puppets’ has just made its way into Spotify’s Billions Club – Thank you!”
Artists who join the Billions Club receive a special plaque honoring their achievement.
“Master Of Puppets” joins other Metallica classics “Nothing Else Matters” and “Enter Sandman”.
The song gained renewed popularity after being featured in season four of Netflix’s Stranger Things.
