Warrant singer Robert Mason says there might be plans for new music.
Mason expressed that there is no urgency to release new music and discussed the challenges of being a band in their 60s in today’s musical climate.
He said, “We have something that might happen. I kind of feel that there’s that huge nostalgia component. My ego doesn’t mean I have to put a record out just for the sake of it. And I understand you make a certain piece with — fans wanna come and hear the nostalgia, and that’s our role, that’s our lane to kind of stay in. If we come up with something great and we wanna put something out, we certainly might. I’ve got ideas.”
Mason also discussed the possibility of releasing a solo record, mentioning his love for different genres and his inclination towards exploring a different musical direction.
