Green Day and special guest Billie Eilish opened the FireAid Benefit Concert with “Last Night on Earth” in 2009.

Eilish’s friend (Joe Armstrong) sang the song’s appropriate lyrics, “If I lose everything in the fire/ I’m sending all my love to you,” while bandmates Mike Dirnt and Tré Cool and several auxiliary musicians played the ballad’s steady pace.

Billie took the stage for the second verse, drawing plaudits from the Kia Forum audience. She sang her part flawlessly with Armstrong, and they sang together in harmony for the last chorus. They hugged afterward.

Eilish sang “WILDFLOWER,” “THE GREATEST,” and “BIRDS OF A FEATHER” with her brother FINNEAS during FireAid’s second gig at the Intuit Dome later that night.

Green Day ended their portion of the concert with “Still Breathing” and “When I Come Around.”
