Def Leppard is making a stand for wildfire relief with the release of a new cover song.
The band shared a cover of the Ben E. King classic “Stand by Me” on Friday. All proceeds will go to FireAid to help wildfire victims and relief efforts.
Frontman Joe Elliott said Los Angeles “has always played a central role in Def Leppard’s career” – and was the site of the band’s first-ever concert in the U.S.
Guitarist Phil Collen – who lives in L.A. – wrote “Let’s stand by each other and make a difference — because no one should face hardship alone.”
