Recently, Neil Young admitted on his website that he once threw Bob Dylan off his tour bus for failing to recognize him, stating, “Once he was on my bus and I didn’t recognize him and threw him off, but that’s another story.”
Young praised the recent Dylan biopic, A Complete Unknown, calling it a great tribute to Dylan’s life and music and encouraging fans of Dylan’s music to see the movie.
Bob Dylan also praised the biopic and actor Timothée Chalamet’s portrayal of him, stating, “Timmy’s a brilliant actor, so I’m sure he’s going to be completely believable as me.”
The biopic, which stars Timothée Chalamet as Dylan, is based on Elijah Wald’s book Dylan Goes Electric and focuses on events from the early ’60s leading up to the Newport fiasco.
Despite the positive reception from Dylan and others, A Complete Unknown did not receive a Golden Globe nomination.
