Iron Maiden took a moment to pay tribute to late singer Paul Di’Anno during Tuesday night’s show in Minneapolis.

Frontman Bruce Dickinson praised Di’Anno for his “amazing voice” and said he was “devoted to rock and roll right up to the last minute of his life.”

He then urged the audience to “take a few seconds to just close your eyes in silence” and “just say, ‘thanks, boss,’ for doing what he did.”

Di’Anno, who sang on Iron Maiden’s first two albums, died earlier this week at the age of 66.
