Poison’s Rikki Rockett is launching a new solo band called ‘The Rockett Mafia’.
The drummer says the band will focus on ’70s-era cover songs, “but not the usual batch that you’d expect.”
The lineup includes guitarist Brandon Gibbs (Devil City Angels), Mick Sweda (BulletBoys), and bassist Bryan Kimes of the Smiths tribute Girlfriend in a Coma.
Rockett will have the next year to focus on his new project – rumors are Poison isn’t planning to tour again until 2026.
