Dave Grohl, the Foo Fighters frontman, recently revealed that he has become a father to a child born outside of his marriage.
In an Instagram post on Tuesday, September 10, Grohl shared that he is committed to being a loving and supportive parent to his new baby daughter while working to regain the trust of his wife, Jordyn Blum, and their other children.
“I love my wife and my children deeply, and I am doing everything I can to earn their forgiveness and rebuild our family’s trust,” he wrote. Grohl also asked for consideration for all the children involved as they navigate this challenging time.
Grohl, 55, and Blum, 48, were married on August 2, 2003, at their home in Los Angeles. This is Grohl’s second marriage; he was previously married to photographer Jennifer Youngblood, with whom he divorced in 1997.
