Former Van Halen bassist Michael Anthony is a bit surprised to be the last man standing – or touring, at least.
He told SiriusXM’s Eddie Trunk a friend recently pointed out he was the only OG member of Van Halen still touring: “I’m the only one from the original band left out here doing this. And I thought, ‘Whoa, that’s a trip.’”
Eddie Van Halen died in 2020, and neither Alex Van Halen or David Lee Roth have performed on stage since that year.
Anthony just wrapped up a tour with his former VH bandmate Sammy Hagar.
