System of a Down and Deftones drew 50,000 fans to San Francisco on Saturday (August 17).
The show took place in Golden Gate Park and is part of the city’s new “Golden Gate Park Concert Series” to help make San Francisco a bigger music destination.
Organizers of the show said about 90% of the attendees were from outside of San Francisco, with a large number coming to the show out of state.
Tickets for the show sold out within minutes of them going on sale.
