Travis Barker is auctioning off a plane ticket from a recent trip to Australia to celebrate conquering his fear of flying.
The blink-182 drummer didn’t fly for 13 years after surviving a fatal plane crash in 2008 that killed both of the plane’s pilots, Travis’ security guard and his assistant, and left him with burns on 70% of his body.
Barker flew for the first time since the deadly accident in 2021 and admits that “it takes a little piece of my life every time I fly.”
Barker flew for the first time in 20 years earlier this year when blink toured Australia, and his Qantas boarding pass is up for grabs for $8,000 on the Trophy auction website.
The pass is complete with an original hand-written note and cross drawing that says, “I know I got angels watching over me.”
