A clip of Chris Cornell covering the iconic Tracy Chapman hit “Fast Car” was shared by his widow Vicky on what would have been the late singer’s 60th birthday.
She posted a video to Instagram with a snippet of the song set to a montage of Chris Cornell footage.
She also wrote a heartfelt tribute: “Although everyone that loved him is sad that he’s no longer here, it’s all of you, the fans who made him, whose love has continued to keep his legacy alive.“
Cornell also hinted the song might see a full release sometime soon, promising “there’s more to come!!!”
