Seether frontman Shaun Morgan says the band is chomping at the bit to play their neaw songs live.
He says they have yet to perform any of the songs from their upcoming album, because “It would be all over the Internet by the next day, and then it kind of blows the surprise.”
Morgan says he’s trying to bring back the thrill of anticipation: “You used to wait for album releases, like, ‘Oh, my God. Finally we can go to the store and we can buy the album. We can go home. We can read the lyrics,’ all those kinds of things. Those don’t exist anymore.”
Seether plans to release the new record in September, with the lead single, “Judas Mind”, dropping in July.
