Social Distortion frontman Mike Ness says his battle with tonsil cancer has been “hell”.
In an interview with Matt Pinfield, Ness said his treatments ended about a month ago: “you can hear it in my voice; it’s still weak, just talking.”
Ness says he had to “learn how to swallow all over again” before moving on to talking and eventually singing.
Ness is hoping to heal up in time for Social D’s upcoming tour in April 2024.
