Tool frontman Maynard James Keenan is turning 60 next year, and he’ll be celebrating with a special tour titled, Sessanta A 60th Birthday Celebration for Maynard James Keenan.
The singer will take his side bands Puscifer and A Perfect Circle on the road with Primus for the limited-run Sessanta tour.
The tour is billed as a “crossover concert celebration”, with members of all three bands joining each other on stage throughout the night.
In a tour trailer released Tuesday, Keenan said it would be “Kind of like ‘We Are The World’ without the bleachers and plastic surgery.”
The tour will make seven stops in April of 2024, including a stop at The Greek Theatre at UC Berkeley on Sunday, April 21, 2024. The Greek Theatre’s doors open at 5:30 pm and the show will begin at 7:00 pm.
