Aerosmith is getting ready for a celebration of their 50-plus years together.

The band announced the dates for their farewell tour called “Peace Out” with special guest The Black Crowes.

The 40-date trek, which begins on September 2nd in Philadelphia, will stop twice in the Bay Area – once at San Francisco’s Chase Center on Friday, December 1st, and again at San Jose’s SAP Center on Monday, December 4th. The farewell tour will end on January 26th in Montreal.

Guitarist Joe Perry said, “I think it’s about time. It’s kind of a chance to celebrate the 50 years we’ve been out here. You never know how much longer everybody’s going to be healthy to do this. It’s been a while since we’ve actually done a real tour. We did that run in Vegas, which was great. It was fun, but (we’re) kind of anxious to get back on the road.“

The band shared a video announcing the “Peace Out” tour with a video shared on Youtube. The video ends with Steven Tyler saying “And if you think we’re joking, Dream On”.
