For a “solo” project, Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry’s upcoming album has an awful lot of people involved.
“Sweetzerland Manifesto MKII” will feature a number of singers, including The Black Crowes’ Chris Robinson, Extreme’s Gary Cherone, Cheap Trick’s Robin Zander, New York Dolls’ David Johanson, and Stone Temple Pilots’ Robert DeLeo.
If all this sounds familiar, it’s likely because “Sweetzerland Manifesto” originally dropped in 2018. “Sweetzerland Manifesto MKII” will feature remixes of the first album’s tracks plus six new songs, Perry says.
The album’s first single, “Fortunate One,” is out now. “Sweetzerland Manifesto MKII” is due on May 26th.
