When Aerosmith’s manager once took a pedal from the late Jeff Beck to give to the band, Joe Perry said he was “really pissed off.” He told the manager that is not how they do things, and “that is not us.”
Since it bothered Perry so much, he eventually managed to right the wrong for Beck’s stolen equipment.
Perry told Beck the story and gifted the guitarist one of his first Klon Centaur pedals.
