Pantera fans are getting their first glimpse at the band’s reunion lineup.
Drummer Charlie Benante – who will be filling in for the late Vinnie Paul – shared a few photos from the band’s first rehearsal sessions – featuring guitarist Zakk Wylde and original members Rex Brown and Philip Anselmo.
He wrote: “It’s been a lot of work but how could it not? So much heart and soul is going into it. This is all about the Love for Vinnie and Dime ,the fans and the music that these 4 created. I’m really enjoying playing these songs – they sound Great! It’s very emotional and it’s just starting to hit me…see you soon, I need a drink.”
The band is spending two weeks rehearsing in New Orleans before heading south for their first shows, which take place in Mexico and South America in December.
The Pantera ‘celebration’ still has not announced any U.S. tour dates.
