A never-before-released live album from The Jimi Hendrix Experience will celebrate the guitarist’s 80th birthday later this year.
Live At The L.A. Forum: April 26, 1969 captures the trio in peak form, with 11 songs sourced from the original eight-track master tapes.
One of the tracks, “I Don’t Live Today”, was released to digital platforms on Thursday.
The album will be available on CD or a two-disc vinyl set on Nov. 18th, ahead of Hendrix’s birthday on Nov. 27th.
