Zane Lamprey, world traveler, professional drinker, and inspiration for the BONE-A-Fide Brews podcast is coming back to the Bay Area for another round of dates for his “Lager than Life Tour.” Zane is heading back out on the road hitting up breweries and performing a brand new stand-up comedy hour.
For those who are unaware of whom Zane is, Zane was the former host of such travel shows as “3 Sheets” & “Drinking Made Easy” where he would travel around the country and talk and learn about the drinking scene of that country where in the later show Zane kept it domestic and would be traveling around the United States. Zane has created a cult following after the shows were brought off the air and ran the largest ever crowdfunding to create another show called “Chug” which was picked up by Netflix and later created his clothing brand, which also started with a crowd-source funding project, “Adv3nture” which is now called “Pleepleus” which is named after a monkey doll from the original show “3 Sheets”, which you’ll hear more about that in the episode.
It was great to catch up with Zane and see how the tour was going so far, we talk about his evolution into stand up comedy, the upcoming announcement for a release for a stand up special, and also talk about his wife’s animal rescue and how he is not allowed to go to animal shelters without supervision.
