A clip from the upcoming biopic Spinning Gold features a performance from KISS – or at least the Hollywood version.
The movie tells the story of Casablanca Records founder Neil Bogart, who signed KISS to their first record deal.
In a two-minute clip released Thursday, KISS performs “Rock and Roll All Nite” for a sold-out crowd while Bogart watches from backstage – with actor Casey Likes as Gene Simmons and Sam Harris as Paul Stanley.
The film will be screened at the Cannes Film Festival this week.
We’ll be seeing more of KISS on the big screen – the band is producing their own biopic about the band’s early years, titled Shout It Out Loud.
