Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith is giving a thumbs-up to Miley Cyrus’s cover of the Metallica classic “Nothing Else Matters”. Smith called the all-star cover “pretty epic, to say the least”. Of course, Smith might be a *little* biased – he plays drums on the recording, part of a band that includes Elton John on piano, Metallica’s own Robert Trujillo on bass, and world-renowned cellist Yo-Yo Ma. Smith compared the lineup to “the Avengers”.
