Are you a marijuana enthusiast? A lover of weed and possibly out of a job? Well, Los Angeles marijuana delivery service Emjay is looking for a summer intern to test and review hundreds of products for them.
CEO Chris Vaughn is on the lookout for some articulate and passionate consumers to help them understand their growing delivery business in the form of a three-month paid internship. Sporting a $15 an hour pay, 16 hours per week, and all the grass you can smoke, we’d imagine many will take Vaughn up on the offer.
However, the company won’t take just anybody.
“It’s really somebody who is very in tune with how certain things impact their body,” Vaughn told USA Today in an interview. “It’s someone who’s really in tune with effects, but more importantly, is very clearly able to communicate, write down the exact impact and effect of any given product.”
Applicants will need to submit a writing sample and also a short video explaining why they should be chosen for the position. They must also be over 21 and a California resident.
“It’ll be fascinating to get the feedback from whoever we find is the best fit,” Vaughn said. “(Cannabis) can have widely varying effects on sleep, mood, and behavior, and we’re really excited to see how one person is able to report back on how these different things affected them.”
The company currently sells over 600 different products, from prerolls to cannabis body oils.
“We have to be trying these new products. We have to see what’s good and what we think people will like. We have to write reviews about these things,” Vaughn continued. “It could be an amazing summer internship at a company.”
