When will the injury nightmare end for the 49ers?
Jimmy Garoppolo and Raheem Mostert were both ruled out for the second half of Sunday’s game vs. the Jets after sustaining first half injuries. Garoppolo is having his ankle X-rayed while Mostert is dealing with a knee issue.
Garoppolo injured the ankle while he was sacked early in the first quarter. It’s unclear how Mostert hurt his knee.
The injuries come on the heels of what appeared to be serious injuries to Nick Bosa and Solomon Thomas in the first quarter, both players being carted off the field on back-to-back plays.
