Is the Rock or Bust Tour the End?

ACDC Rock or Bust Tour

With the final show of AC/DC’s “Rock Or Bust” tour last tonight in Philadelphia, you gotta wonder if this is the last time they’ll be shakin’ us all night long.

First it was guitarist Malcolm Young’s departure after he was diagnosed with dementia. Last year, drummer Phil Rudd was kicked out after he was found guilty on a drug charge, while earlier this year singer Brian Johnson was forced to step down or face the loss of his hearing.

Now it’s AC/DC bassist Cliff Williams who’s pulling the plug.

Cliff said in a new video message: “It’s time for me to step out, and that’s all. Not because we’ve lost Mal, Phil or Brian. I mean, everything changes when something happens like that. When Bon died, it changed then….I’m just ready to get off the road, really, and do what I do.”

According to my careful calculations, that would leave only the great Angus Young as the only original member left.

No Angus 3.0 please! No Beating Around The Bush! It’s over! We salute you!
