Guns N’ Roses have hit the ground running, including lead vocalist, Axl Rose, despite his broken foot. The American rock band kicked off their summer tour of football stadiums at the packed Ford Filed last week in Detroit. Rose pulled out his old fan-favorites like “It’s So Easy” and “Mr. Brownstone,” followed by a set similar to their spring shows. According to Ultimate Classic Rock, “Rose’s voice remained strong throughout, even with him back to his old tricks of prowling all over the stage.”
The big story here is Rose’s injury, which seems to be mostly healed, but it was apparent at last week’s show, that the band has proven that their spring tour was more than just a coincidence.
Guns N’ Roses are scheduled to tour through late August, and you can get all of their tour dates at their official site.
