BRITTANY
What pays the rent: I’m a receptionist at Wild Orchids The Salon and a volleyball coach.
I like: Rock ‘n’ roll, laughing, eating good food (Thai, Indian, and Italian being some of my favorites!), going to shows, going fast! (on my roller skates that is), learning new things, Vietnam era war movies (they have the best soundtracks), World War II documentaries, being active, cooking, tattoos, my Presa Canario Sasha, ice cream, Halloween, tribal belly dance and gypsies.
I don't like: Mustard and sharks.
Best feature: I’m pretty easy going. But if we’re going to get physical, I’ve been told I have cool eyes. They are 2 different colors.
Favorite food / drinks: Pasta, Thai and Indian food, home grown tomatoes, stir fry, ice cream, Thai iced tea, tonic w/ lime.
Favorite bands: Black Sabbath, Guns n Roses, Iron Maiden, Metallica, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Johnny Cash, RU36, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Joan Jett, Alice in Chains, Bad Religion, Ministry, Dire Straits, Pantera, Faith No More, Rancid, Kansas and Foghat. Just to name a few!
Favorite songs: A National Acrobat (Black Sabbath), Children of the Damned (Iron Maiden), Immigrant Song (Led Zeppelin), Wish You Were Here (Pink Floyd), Magic Carpet Ride (Steppenwolf), South of Heaven (Slayer), Roxanne (The Police), Slow Ride (Foghat), Cowboys From Hell (Pantera), Cherry Pie (Warrant).
First concert: Iron Maiden
Best concert: RU36. They put on one hell of a show. Laser lights, strobes, insane mosh pits, crazy crowd surfers, awesome, meaty bass and guitar solos that sound killer live, stage art, and loyal fans that sing along. Heavy metal, punk, psychedelic, all in one set. It's a good time, every time.
I like to work up a sweat by: Playing Roller Derby! Feels good to hit a girl as hard as you can! Not to mention it's a great workout and you get to look hot doing it. My soul belongs to The Undead Bettys.
My ultimate rock fantasy would be: I live it everyday! My boyfriend is in a band and it's crazy to see the whole process, from the birth on a song all the way to hearing people sing along at shows. Not everyone gets to be a part of that magic. My "rock fantasy" is about the music ... and going home with the guitar player’s not bad either!
